Rules

Participants

The “Stunt Riding German Open” is open to all participants from any country. All riders must be at least 16 years of age, and may be either male or female. 

Engine

All the motorcycles used in the competition must have a minimum of 550 cc with at least 2 cylinders. Smaller motorcycles or any other vehicles (eg: scooters, trial bikes, quads or trikes) may not be entered. 

Permitted sound level / scrutineering

A maximum of  98 decibels (dB /A) are allowed (5.00 rpm). The noise measurement will be made by the “Near-field method” (FIM / ASN sound level control).

All the bikes to be used will be scrutinized by the organisers. Although the organisers will scrutinize all the vehicles to be used, the competitor remains solely responsible for the preparation and safety of all his/her vehicles, and for ensuring that they are fit for the purpose for which they are to be used. 

Risk / disclaimer

It is the risk of the competitors themselves to take part in the “German Open”. They must sign the official disclaimer at the competitors’ meeting. 

Numbers

Numbers must be displayed on the competitors’ motorcycles throughout the competition. The number to be displayed will be advised to the rider. 

Clothing

All competitors must wear protective clothing, gloves and helmet during their performance.  Helmets must be secured properly throughout the entire performance.  All riders must wear spine protectors during their performance.  

No liquids

No liquids that will affect the track surface may be used during performances. 

Insurance

The organizer does not assume any duty to exercise proper care for competitors’ bikes and equipment and excludes all liability for damage and loss. The organizer also declines all liability for damage resulting from actions committed by competitors. All competitors must take out a third party liability insurance. In addition, competitors are also advised to take out a personal accident insurance and to insure their bikes and equipment against damage and loss during the event and during transport to and from the event. 

Advertisement

Advertisements may only appear on competitors’ motorcycles, clothing and van as well as on the clothing of their assistants. No flags, banners or placards may be used unless specifically authorised by the organisers. 

Exceptional circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, e.g. forces of nature, all or part of the competition may be held over for a day or may be cancelled, without payment or compensation to the competitors.
