Valuation, scores and judgement
Jury
There will be a jury with 3 experienced judges. A chief judge will be appointed. In case of any controversy, the chief judge’s decision will be final. The judges’ decision cannot be challenged and the result must be accepted as given.
Scoring
The judges score each run with points from 1 to 10. Half points are possible (e.g. 5,5 points). So the maximum will be 30 points per run. Ten penalty points will be deducted if the rider does not start his/her performance when the start flag has been shown or if he/she exceeds the allocated time when the finish flag has been shown.
Tricks that have been started before the finish flag is shown may be completed.
The ratings given by the individual judges will be visible to the riders and to the spectators. The judges’ decision is final and results cannot be challenged.
Valuation
The jury will evaluate style, degree of difficulty, execution, show, fast and slow tricks.
Qualification / finals 2010
There will be two qualification rounds. The scores from both will be added to an interim result. The best 8 will be qualified for the first final. The riders placed 9th to 30th in the qualification will participate in the “challenges” on Sunday morning.
For the first qualification riders will start in reversed order of their numbers. First at 9:00 a.m. will be number 50 last number 1.
For the second qualification the riders will start in reversed order of the qualification result. The last placed rider of the qualification 1 will start at 2:00 p.m. the first placed rider of the qualification 1 will start around six o ‘clock.
The scores of the two qualification rounds will be added to the final qualification result. The best eight riders will challenge the final. Places 9 to 20 in the qualification will take part in the “Challenge 2” at 9:30 a.m. The riders placed 21 to 30 will take parte in “Challenge 1” at 8:30 a.m.
In the first final and in both “Challenges” the riders start without any scoring from the qualification! Only the scores of the last performance are going to count.
After the second final the scores from both finals will be added to the result of the five finalists.
Organisation information
Several motorbikes may be used in one run.
In the paddock there will be space for warm-up before the runs.
The runs will be started by an 30 second warm-up. The timing will be apparent to the rider and for the start of the judgement a flag will be shown to the rider.
The last 60 seconds of the run will be announced by showing a flag as well. At the end of the run there will be an audio signal.
Riders must follow the instructions given. Any rider overrunning the time allowed will be disqualified. Any rider failing to appear at the start on time will also be disqualified.
